Although sodicity-induced reductions in tree height (TH), trunk cross sectional area (TCSA) and canopy volume (CV) were highly significant ( p < 0.001) in both the crops, a perusal of the effect-size measure ( ω 2 ) values implied that TCSA was far less sensitive to sodicity stress than were both TH and CV; regardless of the crop ( Table 1 ).
