As Supplementary Table S2 shows, there are no statistically significant differences in terms of demographic characteristics (age, gender, and subject) between the undergraduate students who participated in this study, the undergraduate student population at The University of Hong Kong, and the undergraduate student population at eight UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong, except that there are marginally significant differences in terms of gender between the students who participated in this study and the student population at The University of Hong Kong.
