A Spanish study conducted between 2000 and 2009 using clinical data from pediatric endocrinology units also showed an increasing trend of CPP among girls, but the overall incidence of Korean CPP between 2004 and 2010 was more than 20 times higher compared with Spanish CPP incidence between 1997 and 2009 (23.3 vs. 1.1 per 100,000 persons) [ 15 ].
