Statistical analysis of inaccuracy and bias in each method has a substantial contribution to the debate concerning the importance and limits of different age estimation methods; in our study, the dental and skeletal methods showed an excellent correlation with real age, especially under 2 years: in this age range, indeed inaccuracy from all the methods is similar, with a slight trend to underestimation.
