demonstrated a good and highly significant correlation between SV/ESV and gold‐standard Ees/Ea. 14 Aubert et al . found a good correlation between 3D echocardiography‐derived SV/ESV and RV–PA coupling measured by a combination of cMRI and RHC in 90 patients with suspected PH and 30 healthy controls. 69 Similarly, paediatric patients with PH showed lower 3D SV/ESV than controls in a retrospective study 68 ; SV/ESV decreased with increasing disease severity and predicted adverse outcome.
