For compliance with IFA for at least 180 days, the following variables were significantly associated with higher odds of compliance: respondent’s age of 35–49 years (aOR 1.51, 95% CI 0.99–2.31, p = 0.057, borderline significance), respondent’s educational qualification of higher (aOR 2.45, 95% CI 1.34–4.48), husband’s educational qualification of higher (aOR 1.36, 95% CI 0.89–2.10, p = 0.156, not significant), not working during pregnancy (aOR 1.24, 95% CI 1.01–1.52), and having received at least four ANC visits from medically skilled providers (aOR 2.43, 95% CI 1.97–3.00).
