When MK1 females were crossed with males from the CI lines ( B116 CI and N51 CI ) , uninfected line ( TPH35- ) or the mixed sex line ( MK2 ), egg hatch proportions were somewhat lower than those from crosses involving females carrying CI-causing Wolbachia ( Table 3 ) although differences between the 5 crosses were marginally nonsignificant (Kruskal–Wallis test, H = 8.01, df = 4, P = 0.072).
