We observed an increasing trend in the number of docked vesicles at PF-PC WT synapses (those located within 10 nm of the AZ membrane) after the exposure to isoproterenol (Generalized Linear Mixed Model, GLMM, P = 0.048 for interaction genotype-treatment; followed by Tukey HSD multiple comparisons test, P = 0.059, Fig. 1 a, c, d) at the expense of SVs within 10–20 nm, which decreased in number (***P < 0.001, Fig. 1 a).
