The survival curve related to the presence or absence of drug addiction, that is, the intake of illegal drugs, had a value p = 0.07, close to significance; survival for subjects with no drug addiction was 43% with a median of 25 days (95% CI = 21–NA), while those who consumed illegal drugs had a survival rate of 30% with a median of 18 days (95%; CI = 12–NA), as shown in Figure 1 E.
