The repeated measures of ANOVA revealed the saxagliptin plus vitamin D group was significantly different compared with the conventional therapy group ( P = 0.001), and the full least-squares models indicated a significant difference of mean change of 2-h C-peptide AUC between the saxagliptin plus vitamin D group and the conventional therapy group at 12 months, 18 months and 24 months ( P = 0.023, 0.038 and 0.013, respectively), and a borderline significant difference at 6 months ( P = 0.06).
