All of the absolute counts measured showed a downward trend across the lifespan ( Supplementary Table S2 ), which was highly significant for platelet and CD31dim platelet EVs ( Figure 2 a,b), significant for neuronal and leukocyte EVs ( Figure 2 c,d), and nominal for endothelial and glial EVs ( Figure 2 e,f).
