A study [ 39 ] investigated the positive rate of PRRSV in South China from 2017 to 2021 and found that the detection rate of PRRSV in South China showed an increasing trend year by year from 2017 to 2021, and PRRSV in South China was still dominated by highly pathogenic strains, which was consistent with the clinical test results in our study.
