A study performed by Chhabra et al 3 from Maharashtra showed a decreasing trend of vulvar cancer over 24 years from 2.25% to 0.03%, whereas two different studies performed from the same tertiary oncology institute in the northeastern state by Nandwani et al 9 and Deka et al 10 showed a rise in trend over the period.
