Thus, the three profiles identified in the study had important clinical implications that profiles of negative and positive attentional biases might be significant predictors of the development of anxiety symptoms and depression symptoms in children; negative attentional bias might be as important as positive attentional bias in predicting emotional symptoms including fear of COVID-19, anxiety symptoms, and depression symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic.
