In light of the key tenets and principles of translanguaging theory ( Li, 2018 , 2022 ), the present study sets out to adopt the process-oriented approach, probing into the “‘spur-of-the-moment’ actions that are semiotically highly significant” ( Li, 2011 , p. 1222) to the interpreters, aiming to examine the momentary complexity and dynamic architecture of the interpreting process.
