Overall, although the anthropometric prediction equations in the current study are cost-effective tools for assessing body compositions, they were not developed in Asian populations, and there may be significant differences in body compositions across ethnic groups, so the applicability of these anthropometric prediction equations to Asian populations requires additional studies for validation, and the results of the current study should be used with caution.
