Differences in antibacterial activity between PRP, PRP gel and SP@PRP gel were highly significant, suggesting that platelet activation by CaGluc and thrombin increased the antibacterial activity, while there was no statistical difference between the PRP gel and SP@PRP gel in terms of antibacterial activity, suggesting that the added SP (SF and SS) did not affect significantly the antibacterial activity of the gels.
