We observed that time from injury normalized EEG features, yet no effects or marginally significant effects were observed once controlling for the effects related to the capacity for consciousness; conversely, controlling for the influence of time from injury on EEG features did not alter the main effects related to the capacity for consciousness ( Supplementary Material ).
