In one study, a trend towards significance for DRTT proximity was observed in nine patients. 51 Symptom-specific improvements have been associated with tract-specific overlap of VTA clusters. 25 Rigidity improvements were associated with overlap of pallidofugal pathways ( Fig. 7D , left) whilst tremor and bradykinesia improvements were associated with overlap of nigrofugal pathways ( Fig. 7D , right).
