Total antioxidant capacity (TAC) and TOS levels in animal blood samples were measured following decapitation to best explain the mechanisms involved in enhanced functional recovery, and the results demonstrated that theaflavin leaves had a highly significant influence on reducing oxidative stress (i.e., improved TAC values and lowered TOS values).
