Discussion The detection of OSAS among children is highly significant due to its diversity of consequences which can be neurocognitive, behavioural, cardiovascular, or metabolic. overnight polysomnography is the gold stander approach to investigate OSAS, nonetheless, the procedure is expensive and it is difficult to carried out to all suspected children, especially in a development country, such as Syria, where even no paediatric sleep centres are available.
