Comparison of TDM samples from adult patients (<50 years) and from the elderly (>90 years) revealed a highly significant, progressive increment in the linezolid trough concentrations (5.8 ± 5.6 mg/L versus 16.6 ± 10.0 mg/L), an overall increment was 30% per decade of age.
