According to abdominal fat percentage (AbFP, abdominal fat weight/eviscerated weight), eight broilers each with extremely high AbFP (HAbF, 1.83% ± 0.23%) and with extremely low AbFP (LAbF, 0.43% ± 0.24%), which showed an extremely significant statistical difference of AbFP between HAbF group and LAbF group [ 28 ], were selected to collect the abdominal adipose tissue (leaf fat), liver, heart, pancreas, kidney, pectoralis, and duodenum.
