Conclusion This case report, including a literature review, revealed that careful follow-up may be significant for the early detection of P. multocida infection when the participant with immunocompromised background due to liver disorder, alcohol addiction, diabetes mellitus, and/or history of aortic surgery was harmed, especially was bitten by an animal, in addition to its clear clinicopathological appearance.
