The comparison of WT mice with TG mice revealed that there were significantly more BPCs in all three spinal segments of TG mice at all three disease stages, indicating that BPCs exhibited an increasing trend through the ALS developmental course in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar segments ( Figure 4 ).
