According to this data, it can be concluded that, after an increase in the epidemiological indicators (probably owing to an increase in the field diagnostic performance as a consequence of the training courses established in 2012 for all veterinarians involved in the eradication programme and the subsequent on-the-spot controls carried out by the Spanish Official Veterinary Services as regards the skin test performance), a decreasing trend began in 2016 [ 5 ].
