When describing the direction of temporal trends, “significant increase” or “significant decrease” signified that the trend of the ASRs was statistically significant (p < 0.05, on the basis of the statistical significance of the AAPC or APC compared to zero: changing with a statistically significant AAPC >0, was characterized as an increasing trend, while changing with a statistically significant AAPC <0 was characterized as a decreasing trend [ 16 ].
