There is currently a decreasing trend in apple consumption (similar to other fresh fruits) in Spain, losing 30% of consumption per person per year in the last 30 years, and standing at one of the lowest consumptions in Europe, far from the recommendations of the OMS (400 g. of fruits and vegetables a day).
