In Cambodia and Vietnam proportionately few women were cohabiting, however, a notable trend in the Philippines and in Timor-Leste is the increase in women reporting that they were living with their partner and unmarried—27.3% in the Philippines in 2017 (up from 17.1% to 2008) and 12.5% in Timor-Leste in 2016 (up from 3.9% in 2009-10).
