Meanwhile, the incidence of GI metastasis shows an increasing trend[ 6 , 11 ], which may reflect the recent increase in the occurrence of lung cancer among women as well as men, more frequent endoscopic examinations performed in general hospitals, and the use of immunostaining study in the differential diagnosis of neoplasms showing an undifferentiated morphology[ 11 ].
