In a large population-based cohort study of postmenopausal women with a history of oral bisphosphonate exposure, the use of Dmab was associated with a modestly significant 13% decreased risk of subsequent breast cancer, suggesting a potential protective effect of Dmab use on breast cancer risk in older women previously treated with bisphosphonates [ 34 ].
