In Table 7 , from the chord section of the log sample to the inner, middle, and outer chord sections of the modified wood sample, the changes in the relative content of carbon atoms in different binding modes were observed. It can be seen that the carbon content ratio of C–C and O–C=O relative to the total carbon gradually increases, while the relative carbon content of C–O and O–C–O gradually decreases. At the same time, the total oxygen content and O/C of the samples showed a decreasing trend in the gradient direction from the log chord section to the inner, middle, and outer chord sections of the modified wood.
