Women hepatologists were older than their male counterparts when having children, with a nonsignificant trend for the average age at birth of their first child (mean for women: 33.2 y vs. men: 32.8 y), and statistical significance for their second child (women: 35.9 y vs. men: 34.0; p = 0.013 (full results in Table 2 ).
