We further dissected these patterns by assigning the phages to four lifestyle groups, namely temperate, uncertain temperate, uncertain virulent, and virulent using a DeePhage tool, [ 27 ] and observed an increasing trend in the m4C densities with the increasing phage virulence, that is, increased from temperate to virulent in both coding and non‐coding regions, but an opposite trend in the m6A methylation densities (Figure 2A ).
