However, when adjusting for all factors in the multivariable analysis, only age (OR 1.05 per year, 95% CI 1.02–1.08) and physical inactivity (OR 2.48, 95% CI 1.40–4.38) remained significantly associated with an increased odds of death and ADL dependency at 3 months, while low education (OR 1.74, 95% CI 1.00–3.00) remained borderline significant ( Table 2 ).
