These factors are highly significant for the practical implementation of hydrothermal-pyrolysis technology in engineering applications. 37 Establishing the relationship between the molecular structure of hydrothermal carbons and their pyrolysis reactivity will contribute to a more profound understanding of the thermal degradation mechanism of PVC. 37–39 To address the knowledge gap in this domain, two types of PVC samples were hydrothermally treated within the temperature range of 220 °C to 260 °C in this work.
