Although RAS -mutated tumors showed less propensity for cervical lymph node involvement, there was a nonsignificant trend toward higher prevalence of distant metastatic disease at presentation, demonstrating their aggressive behavior and the usual pattern of metastasis seen in follicular and Hurthle cell thyroid cancers.
