The study randomized 379 patients and despite demonstrating a between-group improvement in the primary outcome (the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short-Form Physical Component Summary), this did not quite reach statistical significance ( P = 0.055), perhaps due to lack of power from greater than anticipated rates of drop-out, and the sensitivity of the primary outcome to affect change.
