When weeding was done at Naliendele and Nakayaya in phases 1 and 2, as opposed to phase 3, unlike at Nachingwea, there was a highly significant impact on both flushing and blooming, suggesting the possibility of climatic and soil variability at these sites [ 51 , 52 ].
