Consistent with previous results wherein Hipk and activated Siks have been shown to promote Yki-mediated gene expression individually, we also observed a highly significant increase in ex-LacZ fluorescence intensity when both Hipk and activated Siks are co-expressed ( Figures 5D–D’, F–F’ ).
