As well as increase in the NaCl concentration, there was a decreasing trend in the amount of total soluble protein in all Damask rose genotypes (Table 4 ). ‘Atashiʼ had the minimum decrease in total protein up to 39.7% and 60.6% on 14th and 28th days, respectively, while ‘Chahar-Fasl had the maximum decrease with 230% and 340% on 14th and 28th days, respectively, compared to the other genotypes (Table 4 ).
