We constructed the ROC curves for NLR0, NLR48, NLR48 to NLR0 ratio, BISAP and SOFA score, CRP48, mCTSI, and APACHE II score in patients admitted to the ICU; only if the difference from 50% for AUC proved highly significant ( p <0.001), we should consider as relevant the cut-off values identified in order to maximize the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy for that threshold.
