highly significantp < 0.001
A one-way ANOVA revealed a highly significant difference across groups ( F (3,68) = 211.02, p < 0.001, BF 10 > 100), with post hoc tests revealing that this was due to the two conditions with Laser triggering a similar number of withdrawals ( t = 1.91, p = 0.23, BF 10 = 1.09) that was significantly higher than that for the two conditions without laser (all t s > 16.80, all p s < 0.001, all BF 10 s > 100), which in turn were similar ( t = 0.30, p = 0.990, BF 10 = 0.34).
