There was an overall trend of mothers who gained more weight having infants with longer LTL but the results were not statistically significant (> = 40 lbs versus < 40 lbs, 2.09 ± 0.03 T/S versus 2.01 +/-0.30) and neared statistical significance ( p < 0.05).
