The prevalence of stunting in Malaysia has shown an increasing trend over the past decade, that is, from 2011 (16.6%) to 2015 (17.7%) with a 6.6% rise, to 2016 (20.7%) with a 16.9% rise and the new prevalence was revealed in 2019 (21.8%) with a 5.3% increase ( 4 , 14 , 15 ).
