Notably, the interaction between embryonic sex and daily maternal physical activity was also highly significant (0.24 mm·h −1 ; 95% CI [0.12–0.38]), underscoring the differential effect of maternal physical activity on yolk sac size at 10 weeks’ gestation, depending on the sex of the embryo (Fig. 4 , Supplementary Table S3 ).
