Susceptibility to preoperative seizures in glioma patients with elevated homocysteine levels.

To explore whether hyperhomocysteinemia is also an independent clinical variable correlated with preoperative seizures, we fitted a multivariate logistic regression model including all the above variables significantly related to seizure, except the variable of “glioblastoma pathology” due to its complete overlap with the variable of “IDH‐wildtype glioma”, as well as another two variables (the KPS score and tumor side) that showed marginally significant associations with preoperative seizures ( P < 0.1).
