Analyses by finer time periods suggested a constant decline in HBsAg seroprevalence nationwide between 1973–1984 and 2019–2021 ( figure 2A ), which was highly significant in a linear regression model (−0.20% per year, p<0.0001; APC=−3.77, 95% CI −4.15 to –3.38) ( figure 2B ).
