16 Furthermore, a cross‐sectional study based on Rafsanjan study showed a positive trend in BP and hemoglobin levels among the Iranian subjects. 17 Another study of Chinese community residents reported that Hb levels were positively correlated with both systolic and diastolic blood pressure (SBP: r = 0.075, p < 0.001; DBP: r = 0.272, p < 0.001). 18 These findings were consistent with our results, which suggested the need to pay attention to the risk of hypertension in people with hyperhemoglobinemia.
