The monarchE [ 9 ] trial showed that luminal B patients with ≥4 or 1–3 involved lymph nodes and additional risk factors (T3 tumor and/or G3) have a highly significant benefit of the cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor abemaciclib given for 2 years in addition to standard endocrine therapy.
